Tour Austin is Back From Summer Vacation and Safety is our #1 Priority

During these difficult times of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have all had to make significant adjustment to our lives. With that being said, Tour Austin has made changes to the tours we will be offering. To ensure the health and safety of our customers, we will no longer be providing public tours, or tours that consist of multiple groups. Though we’ve had to make some changes, we are still here and ready to work with you. Our private tours will provide your group with a unique, personal experience to see the wonderful sights of Austin. Your safety is our number one priority, and we have updated all our tours to adhere to all guidelines. In addition to planning custom private tours of any kind, we are currently offering our iconic Mural and City Tour and the Waco-Magnolia Day Trips for a private group of up to 10 individuals at a fixed price. We want you to enjoy all the weirdness that Austin has to offer, and we have made changes that will allow you to do so, while keeping in mind your safety.

Private is the Way to Go

Discover everything that makes Austin the best, and certainly the weirdest city in America. You can do all this from one of our local tour guides in the comfort of one of our luxury vehicles. Whether you’re a foodie, music lover, or an urban explorer, our private tours are the best way to experience everything Austin has to offer. Our team knows what makes Austin its unique self and looks forward to customizing the perfect day for you. For all you outdoor adventurers alike, we can start the day off with a morning hike on the Greenbelt. Afterwards, we can take you to eat the best breakfast tacos Austin has to offer. From then on, you can enjoy Austin’s street art scene in the afternoon, a local beer at an Austin brewery for happy hour, and finally, watch the bats fly at sunset while you take in some live music in the evening. For those eager to get out of the city, we can take you to experience the best of Central Texas. Whether it is eating cupcakes in Waco or tasting wine in Fredericksburg, perhaps you prefer strolling the River Walk in San Antonio. The choice is entirely yours. At a minimum of three hours of tour time, you can make your way through Austin seeing all of your most desired sights. This tour is custom-tailored to fit your wants and needs, and the best part is you can choose any, none, or all of the above suggestions. We want to make the day completely personalized for you!

Private Outdoor Art Tour

Infamous for over its Instagram-able and picture-worthy murals, Austin is home to over 80 displays of colorful outdoor art. Tour Austin currently offers private tours that allow groups to see these murals in a matter of a few hours. These tours are safe, sanitary, and full of fun. For up to three hours, your party of up to 10 individuals, will peruse the streets of Austin while stopping at the city’s most notorious murals. Your party is the only group in the vehicle, and sanitizing procedures take place before and after you enter the vehicle. Our tour guide will take you on a route that consists of travel to the Eastside murals and other popular murals placed around the city of Austin. Your tour guide will capture all your picture worthy moments, all while providing you with the history and details of each mural. If you are interested in starting or ending your trip with a mural tour, pickup and/or drop off can be arranged at the airport. We value your health during this time, and you can find more information on our current safety protocols here.

Private Day Trip to Waco

For those seeking exploration outside of the city, we are offering a day trip tour to Waco, Texas. Home to Magnolia Market and the birthplace of the HGTV show, Fixer Upper, Waco offers endless spots to explore. Due to the matter of limiting risk and exposure, this tour is available solely Monday through Friday, and can accommodate private groups of up to 10 individuals. During your time at Magnolia Market at the Silos, relax, grab a bite to eat, or grab a sweet treat from the bakery. In addition to a visit to Magnolia’s Silos, we will give you a tour of Chip and Joanna’s version of Waco. The trip is not complete without a stop at the legendary Buc-ee’s convenience store where you can load up on Texas goodies. Stops will be arranged on the way to and from as needed. Similar to other private tours, additional time can be added for $99 an hour. We are happy to work with you and customize a tour that suits all your wants and needs.
