Plan a Private Distillery Tour for Your Bachelorette Weekend

Bachelorette Weekend in Austin

Private Distillery Tour for Your Bachelorette Weekend

Your best friend has been there for you through the good times and the bad. Now she’s getting married, and you want to throw her the party of a lifetime.

Austin is the perfect place for a bachelorette weekend. Our city is centrally located, we have beautiful weather, and we have lots of locally-made booze. What better way to kick off your besties soon-to-be marriage than a private tour with you and your nine closest gal pals?

Tour Austin has just what you’re looking for. Our private tours are completely customizable. It’s the bride’s day, so let her pick all of the sights to see that day. Or, if you’d rather leave it to the experts, we are happy to plan a tour entirely based on your wants and needs.

Our private tours are a minimum of 3 hours and cost $149. If you and the group want to keep the party going longer, we are happy to provide additional time at $99 an hour.

The possibilities are truly endless in this city. We have plenty to choose from along the Dripping Wine Trail. This trail is named after Dripping Springs, a small town located just 35 minutes from downtown Austin. This area has three award-winning vineyards in their vicinity.

You could also visit the Driftwood Wine Trail. There are six wineries along this path, including Salt Lick Cellars and the Driftwood Estate Winery.

If you have the time to wander a little farther away from Austin, you could visit the Becker Vineyards, Chisholm Trail Winery, and Last Draw Cellars.

All this sounds fine for a special weekend for a typical girl, but in case your best friend is not the kind of girl who sips wine with her pinky in the air we still have options for you. Perhaps your friend would rather go on a distillery tour?

We are happy to provide numerous distillery options out amongst Texas Hill Country. There, you can visit Deep Eddy Vodka, Revolution Spirits and Gin, Still Austin Whiskey Company, and/or Treaty Oak Distilling.

Let’s learn a little bit about the places you could possibly visit.

Deep Eddy

Deep Eddy was established in 2010 and is named for the oldest swimming hole in Austin.

Yep, you read that right. Wouldn’t it be fun to take the bachelorette party to the swimming hole after your distillery tour? Add that to your agenda.

Deep Eddy is known for its award-winning vodkas. Order a vodka flight or one of their specialty cocktails. You might want to try their peach, cranberry, lemon, ruby red, or orange vodkas. But since it is Texas, you must try their sweet tea flavored vodka.

Revolution Spirits

Revolution Spirits has been around since 2013. They offer unique products such as Cafecito coffee liqueur, Chocolate Cafecito, and Amico Amara, but their signature distilled item is their Austin Reserve Gin.

Let our tour introduce you to this up-and-comer in the distilling industry. They also have limited releases that you may be lucky enough to taste while on your tour.

Treaty Oak Distilling

Treaty Oak Distillery is named Austin’s famous 500-year-old tree, under which Stephen Austin signed the document that helped define the borders of our great state.

Treaty Oak is known for their whiskey, and they know more about whiskey than anyone you will ever meet. They know where their ingredients are sourced, and you can tell in the taste.

You and your friends may try their Red Handed Bourbon Whiskey, Red Handed Rye Whiskey, or their Waterloo Gin. If you are still standing, why not experience a Ghost Hill Old Fashion?

Still Austin Whiskey Company

Still, Austin Whiskey is proud of their Texas roots. They call themselves a grain to glass distillery because they only use home-grown grain in their products. You’ll know you are in the right place when you see the silos.

You may want to try their Mother Pepper Whiskey, their Daydreamer Whiskey, or their Still Austin Gin. Have a cocktail or two. They make them right.

We at Tour Austin can be your one-stop-shop for planning your bachelorette weekend in Austin. We also offer tours to the non-distillery type of silos. These silos are in Waco, and we will take you and your party on a day trip to visit the Magnolia Market for a little shopping.

You may also like to experience life on the river with our River Tubing Tour. You and your friends will be able to relive your college days as you lazily float down the river, maybe with a cocktail made from your new-found favorite liquor.

If you are new to our beautiful city, you could also take the Austin Mural and City Tour. Take a ton of photos in front of Austin’s most well-known outdoor murals. We will also give you the highlights of our city as we drive to each destination.
