Kids Tour Austin for Free This Summer

Free Kids Tour in Austin

Sometimes when people think of Austin, they think of a sophisticated metropolitan city that hosts some of the largest gatherings in the world. They think of large and small live music venues that pepper the city. They think of fine dining and a gigantic college campus.

What visitors may not realize is that Austin is an excellent place to vacation with your family. Sure, you won’t be able to visit Sixth Street at night with your kids in tow, but there are plenty of other things to do in Austin that are kid-friendly and that all members of your family will enjoy.

Let us make your vacation planning easy. Why not book a tour with Tour Austin this summer? You will get to see the highlights of our city while riding in comfort in one of our luxury vehicles, and your kids will be entertained as well.

Here are the details.

Book your tour through our website. Make sure you use our promo code SUMMER, and you will receive one free child’s ticket for every adult ticket you purchase. You love saving money, right?

Make sure you book for the correct date, as we offer this tour every day starting at noon.

Arrive a few minutes early to the Austin Visitor’s Center, which is located at 602 E 4th Street in downtown.

Bring your own child seats. You can use them in our vehicles, but we are not able to provide them.

Also, bring your own drinks and snacks. We don’t have the “no eating” rule in our vehicles, so your kids can eat as many crumbly Cheez’Its as they want.

Once we are loaded into our comfortable vehicles, we will show off our beautiful city. You will learn about the East Side, Downtown, the Capitol, the University of Texas, and South Austin. Our guides try to keep the tour as kid-friendly as possible.

Another reason our tour is so kid-friendly is that you and your brood will have a chance to get out and stretch your legs at several of Austin’s most popular murals. You will visit and have the opportunity to take photos in front of My Butter Half, 6th Street Mural, Greetings from Austin, I Love You So Much, and Hi, How Are You murals. Your kids will love the brightly-colored spots, and you will love having the chance to take great photos with your family.

The tour wraps up in two and one-half hours. We’ll drop you back off at the Austin Visitor’s Center, and you can be on your way.

We understand that life, especially with kids, is unpredictable. If you need to cancel your reservation or reduce the number of tickets you purchased, please do so at least 72 hours before the time of the tour. If you do so, you will receive a complete refund.

If you are unable to cancel your reservation with at least a 72-hour notice, you can receive credit for a future tour.

Tour Austin has other options that may appeal to your family as well.

Since you already made the effort of traveling to Austin, why not take a peek at San Antonio as well? We know you’re not crazy about driving in Texas traffic, so why not let us drive while you hang out with the rest of your family in our luxury vehicle? We will drop you off at San Antonio’s number one attraction, the River Walk, and we will drive you back to Austin a few hours later.

Austin has lots of other kid-friendly attractions to explore. Visitors are always surprised to see all the green spaces throughout Austin. We have an extensive trail system that has many hidden treasures. Talk with one of our guides to learn about some of the spots only locals know about. They may even disclose the location of one of their favorite swimming holes.

Visit the Thinkery, our not-your-ordinary children’s museum that your kids will love. Of course, you have to take time to visit our bats as they scatter through the Austin area at about dusk each night. You may want to spend time along Lady Bird Lake.

Do you need transportation around the city while you are visiting? Reach out to our friends at R&R Limo and Bus.

Regardless of your itinerary, we at Tour Austin are excited to be a part of your plans. We know and love the Austin area and are happy to share our city with you, even if it is for just a few days.

Call now and reserve a seat for your kids!
